Our community offers a variety of ministries to help you explore your gifts, strengthen our church, and impact the community.
Be a part of creating a friendly and generous reception for all Greater guests, friends, and family. Do you enjoy welcoming people and creating a memorable and fun experience for new and old guests? Do you have an eye for detail and excellence? This ministry is for you. Hospitality includes: greeting, serving, touring, answering questions, and hosting guests.
Allow your children, youth, and young adults ages 2-26 to make new friends, experience meaningful training programs, cultivate leadership opportunities in life and church, and participate in mission opportunities both domestic and abroad.
Get involved in making a difference in Overtown/Downtown Miami and across the world! The WMS has a record of 131 years of service committed to winning souls to Christ, health, economic, peace and justice issues. The WMS serves hot meals to the homeless every 2nd Tuesday of the month from 12-2:00pm and typically holds a planning meeting the Saturday after every 2nd Sunday.
Commit to help address the health, economic, and social justice challenges facing minority men as well as mentor a young boy. The Sons of Allen hold a planning meeting every Saturday after the 2nd Sunday, but don’t wait until then to get involved! Express interest or help today!
Help deliver the Gospel as well as other important information through graphic design, social media, videography, writing, photography and more! The ways we can reach the world is evolving and we need you!
Gladly guide individuals to their seats during the Sunday worship experience and major events with a happy demeanor. If you are active, and like helping maintain organization and ease of crowd flow this is for you. Ushers normally serve 1-2 Sundays out of the month.
Bible Discovery hour exists to help individuals go deeper in the Word of God while allowing time for questions and answers. Bible Discovery takes place on the first floor of our main building every Sunday from 8:30-9:30AM. Discovery Groups consist of 8-10 people. There are different groups for children, young adults, men, and women.

Stewardesses are women who are appointed by the pastor to serve as special assistants to the stewards in looking after the physical arrangements of the pulpit, the Lord’s Supper, baptism, the sick, the poor, and being useful in other ways. Stewardesses are nominated by the pastor and confirmed by the stewards.
